Romanian Dacia sales in Germany, down 2.2% in November

Sales of new Dacia cars in Germany dropped by 2.2% year-on-year in November, but the Romanian brand’s sales increased by 7.7% in the first 11 months of the year, compared to same period in 2013, an increase three times higher than the market.

Dacia car registrations went down from 3,455 units to 3,380 units in November, representing a market share of 1.4%, according to the German car registration office, reports local Mediafax.

Dacia sold 45,121 cars between January and November, compared to 41,886 cars in the same period in 2013, registering a 1.6% market share.

The German car market decreased by 1.8% to 250,082 units in November, while the number of cars sold in Germany in the first 11 months of the year increased by 2.6%, to 2.8 million units, compared to same period in 2013.
