Romanian Central Bank buys fitness equipment for its closed-circuit club & training centers

Romania’s Central Bank BNR will spend EUR 60,000 on sports equipment for the BNR Club in Cotroceni, Bucharest, as well as for the training centers in Sinaia and Paltinis mountain resorts. Some of the items BNR wants to purchase are treadmills, stationary bikes and weightlifting equipment, reports local Mediafax.

The firms may request the bidding documentation until November 10, while the offers must be submitted until November 12. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest price.

The BNR Club is a closed-circuit club run by the Romanian Central Bank. The club also includes the BNR Arenas, which are partially open for public, who can use its tennis courts. The BNR Club also hosts various events, such as Garden Parties on various occasions which bring together high-level state officials and foreign guests in the large park near the BNR Arenas.
