Romanian Apple reseller doubles turnover in 2016

iStyle Retail, the company operating the largest Apple network in the region, doubled its turnover in Romania last year to EUR 34 million.

The business grew ten times compared to 2014, according to data from the Finance Ministry, cited by local Ziarul Financiar.

The company’s profit rose by 460% to EUR 0.37 million whereas the average number of employees went up by 11 people to 45. The iStyle network includes 22 stores as well as an online store.

iStyle Retail is owned by iStyle Professional Services, which in turn is controlled by Romanian entrepreneur Dora Popeneciu, the general director of the iStyle network, with a 10% stake, and the Cyprus-based firm iStyle Cyprus Limited, which owns the rest of the shares.
