Romanian airline Tarom CEO dismisses the CFO

03 April 2015

Christian Heinzmann, general manager of Romanian airline Tarom, has dismissed the company’s CFO Eduard Rosianu.

Heinzmann said that Rosianu had had an illegal work contract. The former CFO confirmed the dismissal and said that it was abusive.

“Technically speaking, the decision to end the individual labour contract is based on a document that circulated between Tarom and the Transport Ministry, signed by Heinzmann and the legal counsel, which concluded that I should have had a mandate contract and not an individual labour contract,” said Rosianu, cited by local Wall-street.ro.

He will challenge the decision in court.

Previously, Rosianu had been for almost two years CFO for the group Imperial Jet, an aviation service provider registered in Germany.
