Romania, second fastest growing market for EY in the region

Romania was the second growing market in the region for EY in the fiscal year ended in June 2014, according to EY Romania representatives.

“In Romania, EY had a very good year. We have offered services to more than 1,000 clients, both Romanian and foreign. We also registered the highest growth rate of the 22 countries where EY is present in Central and Southeastern Europe, after Turkey, for the second year in a row,” said Bogdan Ion, country managing partner for EY Romania.

EY posted global revenues of USD 27.4 billion in the fiscal year ended June 30, 2014, 6% higher compared to the previous year. The group offers financial advisory, transaction advisory, assurance and tax services and has 190,000 employees worldwide.

EY has been present in Romania since 1992 and has a team of over 500 employees for Romania and Moldova. The firm has offices in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi and Chisinau, in Moldova.
