Romania Olympic medal count update: bronze in gymnastics and weightlifting

Romania's medal count has crept up to five, with the addition of two extra bronze medals in the women's gymnastics team event and the men's weightlifting competition.

Overall, Romania has slipped to thirteenth in medal table, still in between Australia and Brazil, both of which also slipped down the rankings.

Razvan Constantin Martin, a 20 year old student from Cluj (in picture, right), won a bronze medal in the men's 69 kg category, lifting 332 kg. The event was won by Lin Qingfeng of China, while Indonesia's Triyatno took the silver.

China and the US both reached the 23 medal count, with China earning 13 gold medals and the US, only 9 so far.
