Romania’s foreign debt increases by EUR 2.56 bln in five months
Romania’s foreign debt increased by EUR 2.56 billion in the first five months of this year, reaching EUR 96 billion at the end of May, according to Romania’s National Bank (BNR).
The long-term foreign debt stood at EUR 67.54 billion at the end of May, slightly down compared to the end of last year, but the short-term debt went up by almost 15%, to EUR 28.5 billion.
