18 February 2016

South-African investment fund New Europe Property Investment (NEPI), one of the biggest real estate investors in Romania, will inaugurate a new office project in downtown Bucharest this summer.

The Aviatorilor 8 project is located in Victoriei Square, near the Government building, and has a total leasable area of more than 8,400 sqm. The developer is currently working on the third floor of the office building, which is also the top floor, after which it will start installing the glass facade.

The project includes a total of 204 parking places on three underground levels, charging options for electric cars at every level of the parking, bike racks, and three elevators.

NEPI will also renovate a historical building located on the plot as part of the project. The villa belonged to a former Governor of Romania's National Bank.

NEPI’s portfolio in Romania includes several shopping centers across the country, such as Mega Mall and Promenada Mall in Bucharest, CityPark Constanta, Ploiesti Shopping City, Braila Mall, Galati Shopping City, and Shopping City Targu-Jiu, as well as office buildings in Bucharest, Timisoara, and Cluj-Napoca.

Real estate investment fund NEPI makes EUR 111 mln rental revenues, mostly in Romania.
