PwC Romania's Peter de Ruiter and John Webster to run at Bucharest City Marathon

Peter de Ruiter (in picture), Partner, Tax and Legal Services Leader at PwC Romania, and John Webster, Partner, Assurance Leader at PwC Romania, will be part of the PwC Romania team that will run at this year’s Bucharest International Marathon, according to the company. Over 150 people will run with the PwC team at the five trials of the competition, namely marathon, semi-marathon, the relay race, the 4 km popular contest and the children’s race. Both de Ruiter and Webster will run in the half-marathon- 21 km.

Bucharest International Marathon started as an international marathon in 2008, being part of International Streets Marathon Association and included in the international official marathon races calendar. In 2010 the marathon had 1,800 runners for the competitive races and over 2,000 persons for Popular Race and Children Race. Athletes came from Romania and other 20 countries, like Kenya, Ethiopia, Italy, UK, USA, Germany, Israel, France, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Moldavia.
