PwC: Attractive fiscal climate needed for Romania to benefit from global trade increase

09 October 2014

Romania could benefit from the increase in global trade, which is set to double by 2030, but it needs an attractive fiscal and customs climate, as well as infrastructure, according to PwC.

Global trade is expected to reach USD 18 trillion by 2030, from USD 10.3 trillion. Advanced and emerging markets will bring half of the growth expected for the following years. By then, global trade players will also reposition, with Asian states set to become even more important commercially. The increase in exports in the last five years has helped Romania overcome the recession, said PwC.
