Retailer Profi opened two new stores in Romania on August 14, in Iasi and Drobeta Turnu Severin, reaching a network of 240 units across the country.

The new store in Iasi has a total area of 448 sqm, this being the company’s seventh unit in the city, while the one in Drobeta Turnu Severin covers an area of 623 sqm.

The retailer plans to further expand its network and targets a total of some 300 stores by the end of the year.

Profi is one of the largest retail chains in Romania, being present in 118 cities across the country. The retailer employs more than 5,500 people.
