Pink Martini return for May concert in Romania

The ‘Little Orchestra’ Pink Martini will perform again in Romania on May 26 this year, at Sala Palatului (28, Ion Campineanu St.), 20:00.

Pink Martini have performed previously in Romania. In 2007 they were at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, in 2009 at the Teatrul National de Opereta, also in the capital city, while in 2010 they played the Ciuc Summer Fest.

Pink Martini were formed in 1994 in Portland, Oregon, by pianist Thomas Lauderdale. Their music is inspired by several music genres, crossing from jazz to classical and even pop.

This year’s performance by the 12-member orchestra will include some of their best-known songs, such as ‘Una Notte a Napoli’, ‘Hang On Little Tomato’, ‘Donde Estas Yolanda?’, ‘Hey Eugene’, ‘Sympathique (Je ne veux pas travailler)’, ‘Lilly’, ‘Que Sera Sera’ and ‘Amado Mio’.

Tickets for this performance in Bucharest cost between RON 88 and RON 160 until February 19, and between RON 110 and RON 200 from February 20. They can be purchased from Germanos, Vodafone, Orange, and Domo stores, Humanitas and Carturesti bookshops, or online from eventim.ro.
