A fish processing plant in Tulcea, Romania, developed with the help of a EUR 2 million greenfield investment, currently delivers over 16 fish products to the local market. Nine of them already have traditional product certification from the Ministry of Agriculture.

“We’ve developed a EUR 2 million investment from zero, in an area with tradition in fishery, where the entire fish processing industry has collapsed after 1989. (…) We’ve managed to also create over 40 jobs in this unit so far,” said Daniel Buhai, the processing unit’s general manager, cited by local Agerpres.
