Orange Romania extends lease, expands office in Europe House

12 February 2013

Europe House in Victoriei Square was in Europolis' portfolio

Telecom operator Orange Romania extended the lease on the area it occupies in the Europe House office building in Victoriei square in Bucharest, and expanded it to 9,200 sqm, which is more than half of the usable space in the building. The new lease contract was signed at the end of 2012, and was brokered by CBRE Romania, the real estate agency announced.

The Europe House building, owned by investment fund CA Immo is thus fully occupied. Orange has been a tenant in the building since 2002, and many refer to the building as the ''Orange building''. Europe House covers some 15,000 sqm of usable space.

Austrian fund CA Immo acquired Europolis, the former owners of the office building, in 2011. In Romania, the fund also owns the office buildings Opera Center, Bucharest Business Park, River Place, as well as the Retail park Sibiu and the logistics project Europolis Park Bucharest.
