Nigel Kennedy to give another concert in Romania this spring

British violinist Nigel Kennedy will hold a concert  at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, Monday, April 2, 2012 starting at 19:00. This is not the artist's first visit to Romania. Kennedy played in Bucharest in 2011 with the Romanian pan pipe player Damian Draghici in a concert called "Classical meets Jazz". He has also held concerts in Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca.

Nigel Kennedy is acclaimed for his violin virtuosity. Although well known for performing classical music, over the years he has experimented with different genres, including jazz and versions of guitar legend Jimi Hendrix's songs. He is currently considered the best selling violinist of all time.

Kennedy, who was born in 1956 in Brighton, England, had the opportunity to hold private concerts for the British royal family and he has worked with bands and artists like The Who, Paul McCartney and Ron Carter. For more information about Nigel Kennedy you can access his Myspace page.
