The Romanian Union Federation Sanitas has recently published a version of the draft law on public wages that had been agreed at the end of the last year by the former government.

However, the draft is only one of the four versions of the unified wage law project discussed in 2015. The Government and the union will agree only today which is the final draft version, reports local Economica.net. They will have their first meeting this morning.

According to the wage draft law published by the Federation Sanitas, the salary of a young teacher in primary education may amount to some EUR 460-570 whereas a high school teacher with 40-year experience could get a salary of EUR 1,090-1,360.

In the health sector, a resident doctor may get some EUR 596-795 per month.
