Management projects will be analyzed until December 3, and from December 4 to December 11, the second stage of the process, the interviews, will take place.

Candidates will have to comply with several conditions: university studies in human sciences and arts or social sciences and at least five years experience in running an institution dealing with shows.

The task book and the competition regulation can be received at the Ministry of Culture headquarters or at the Bucharest National Opera, or online on their websites.

Cătălin Ionescu-Arbore became a GM of the Opera in 2006, when he replaced Ludovic Spiess.
