Food retailer Mega Image, part of the Belgian Delhaize Group, opened 3 new stores in Bucharest, reaching a network of 370 supermarkets.

The retailer opened a store on Soseaua Giurgiului in sector 4, with a sales area of 735 sqm, a shop in sector 6, with a 380 sqm area and a Shop & Go supermarket in sector 6 with a sales area of 91 sqm, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

Founded in 1995, Mega Image is one of the largest supermarket chains in Romania with a network in Bucharest, Constanta, Ploiesti, Pitesti, Brasov, Targoviste and other cities, under the Mega Image (179), Shop & Go (189) AB COOL FOOD (1) and Mega Drive (1) brands.
