Man tries to raise awareness on possible terrorist attacks in Romania by crashing into the Government's fence

A man has crashed his car into the fence surrounding the Victoria Palace in Bucharest (the building that hosts the Romanian Government) on Friday, January 22. He later explained that his gesture was a form of protest, as he was trying to show that terrorist attacks can also take place in Romania, reports local Mediafax.

Around 11:30, the man drove his car into the green space in front of the Government’s building, hit a tree and then crashed into the metal gates at the entrance.

The Police took the driver to a police station in Bucharest for questioning. According to judicial sources cited by Mediafax, the man was only wearing pants at the time of the incident.
