Low cost airline Wizz Air to temporarily relocate Targu Mures flights to Cluj Napoca Airport in Romania this September

Low cost airline Wizz Air will relocate its flights to and from Targu Mures, Romania, on the Cluj-Napoca Airport between September 15, 20:00, and September 22, 12:00, due to maintenance works to be performed at the Transilvania Airport in Targu Mures, the company has recently announced.

Wizz Air recommends its passengers to check their flight details on the company’s website and to arrive at Cluj Napoca airport two hours before the flight.

Wizz Air is the largest low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and operates a fleet of 45 Airbus A320 aircraft from 17 bases with 280 routes linking 95 destinations in 35 countries. Wizz Air has 1,600 employees and had some 13.5 million passengers in the first quarter of 2013.

The low cost airline carried 2.7 million passengers to and from Romania in 2012, out of a total of 12 million passengers across all its markets. The result for Romania was similar to 2011.
