Local company to launch EUR 200 Allview AllDro tablet PC next month

A Brasov-based company called Visual Fan will next month launch a tablet PC called Allview AllDro. The tablet is produced in China based on Visual Fan's technical specifications and will be sold for EUR 200.

The Allview AllDro has a 7 inch display and runs on an Android operating system, similarly to Samsung Galaxy Tab, its main competitor, according to Romanian media.  Its 2GB memory can be expanded to 32GB. The tablet can allow for a used of Wi-Fi internet for 6 hours and of up to 30 hours of listening to music.

The company, which also sells dual SIM telephones, was set up in 2002. Initially it sold IT and household products, and in 2007 it also added software and navigation systems. In 2008, it started producing dual SIM phones in China and sold 15,000 such phones last year.
