KPMG Romania names two new partners and four new directors

KPMG has named Madalina Racovitan Tax Partner, while Speranta Munteanu is the new Advisory, Transactions and Restructuring Partner. The company has also named four new directors, namely Daniela Oprescu (in picture) as head of the Tax International Executive Services, Teodora Alecu - Tax, Transfer Pricing, Mihai Rada - Director, Management Consulting - Technology, Media and Telecommunications and Cristian Itu - Director Management Consulting and Public Sector.

Madalina Racovitan, the company’s new Tax Partner in Romania, joined KPMG in 1999. She has developed KPMG’s International Executive Services (IES) practice over several years, and has coordinated tax projects in oil, electronics, software, as well as food and beverages.

Speranta Munteanu, Advisory, Transactions and Restructuring Partner, joined KPMG at the beginning of this year, after having worked with PwC Romania for the last 15 years. During her career she has developed Insolvency and Restructuring as her main speciality.

Daniela Oprescu, new Director of the Tax International Executive Services, is currently actively involved in the development of KPMG’s coordinated People Services line of business.

Teodora Alecu, Tax, Transfer Pricing Director, has developed KPMG in Romania’s Transfer Pricing team over the last five years, while Mihai Rada - Director, Management Consulting - Technology, Media and Telecommunication joined KPMG in 2001 and has developed KPMG's advisory practice for the telecom industry over several years, being KPMG Romania's country lead for advisory services provided to telecom clients.

Cristian Itu, Director, Management Consulting and Public Sector, has been assisting the Romanian companies in complying with statutory laws and regulations and focuses on improving operational performance and technology as well as on project management services for public entities.
