Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis will be on holiday this week.

An announcement posted on Romania’s Presidency website shows that Iohannis’ Easter holiday starts today, April 6, and will end on April 10. The Presidency didn’t however specify where the President will spend his days off.

According to political sources cited by local Digi24, the presidential family already left to Madeira Island in Portugal.

Iohannis, who is a Protestant, spent Easter with his parents in Germany. The Catholics and Protestants celebrated Easter on April 5 this year.

After the Easter holiday, the President plans to resume consultations with political parties to evaluate how many of the actions established at the beginning of the parliamentary session have been done so far, according to a post on Iohannis’ Facebook page.
