IT gets hotter: Endava hires 150 in Bucharest

British IT services provider Endava wants to employ 150 people in its headquarters in Bucharest by the end of the year.

The total staff will increase by 30%, from 300 to 450 employees, reports local Wall-street.ro.

The company will also hire 50 persons in its headquarters in Pitesti by the end of 2015. Endava wants to double the number of its employees in Pitesti in the next three years.

Salaries in IT have become more attractive, especially starting with 2014, when a series of new players entered the market, said Alexandra Chivu, HR director with Endava Romania.

The IT field posted the highest salary increases in 2014, Chivu added.

IT specialists received a salary boost of up to 40%.
