The shopping center Mercur Craiova, owned by local investment fund SIF Oltenia, will be reopened in April this year after an extensive revamping process. The total investment amounts to over EUR 10 million.

Mercur Craiova is a former communist department store located in the city center. It has been owned by SIF Oltenia for many years.

The store will have a modernized shopping area, a multiplex cinema with six digital rooms, restaurants, a fast-food area, and a playground for children. It will also have a casino and a fitness center. Its total leasable surface will be some 20,000 sqm.

Real estate consultancy firm Colliers International has been handling the shopping center’s leasing process.
