Indian company IBS Synergies wants to invest USD 150 million in Romania’s poultry sector for an integrated greenfield project.

The project will include a hatchery, a processing plant and a slaughterhouse feed, reports local Mediafax. The investment would create over 500 jobs.

A.S. Bindra, the company’s president, met yesterday with Alexandru Nastase, a state secretary in the Department for Foreign Investments and Public-Private Partnership.

IBS Synergies is one of the largest companies in India with import-export operations and project developments. It is part of the IBS group.
