Lender Banca Transilvania and entrepreneur community Endeavor Romania have partnered for two programs connecting entrepreneurs to international markets and Romanian business communities in Europe and the U.S.

The partnership covers two programs, rolled out in five countries in 2026 – 2027.

Beyond Borders is meant for Romanian companies ready to explore new markets. It supports entrepreneurs in taking specific steps to scale their businesses. Immersion sessions will be organized in Madrid (September 2026), Athens (October 2026), and Istanbul (2027).

Diaspora Gatherings facilitates access to Romanian business communities in New York (December 2026) and London (May 2027). It is meant to help make the experience and connections built in various international markets more accessible to Romanian companies interested in expanding internationally.

“More and more Romanian entrepreneurs are taking the step towards international expansion, and for us, it is only natural to support them at this stage as well. We have grown together, built success stories in Romania, and we can contribute to their development beyond the country’s borders too. We believe progress accelerates when we support one another, with every player contributing something valuable to the economy and the communities they are part of,” Ömer Tetik, the GM of Banca Transilvania, said.

At the same time, building strong connections with the expertise and business networks of the Romanian diaspora in Europe and the US through Diaspora Gatherings is one of the most effective ways for Romanian entrepreneurs to gain a better understanding of foreign markets and take their first steps towards building truly global businesses," Mihnea Crăciun, general manager of Endeavor Romania, explained.

Lender Banca Transilvania has approximately 600,000 corporate clients, ranging from startups and SMEs to corporate and large corporate ones.

Endeavor Romania is part of the global network supporting high-growth entrepreneurs and provides access to international business mentors and communities.
