How do apartment prices evolve in Bucharest?

The prices requested by owners of apartments located in central or the northern part of Bucharest increased by 4.6% last year whereas the prices for the apartments in the east, south and west of Bucharest dropped, according to an analysis made by HomeFinders.

In 2014, the average price requested for an apartment in the center or the north of Bucharest amounted to EUR 65,000. In 2015, the price rose to EUR 68,000, reports local Mediafax. The highest prices were recorded in November (EUR 69,000) and December last year (EUR 70,000).

Compared to December 2014, the value rose by EUR 5,000 on average, according to HomeFinders.

In the east, south and west of Bucharest, prices dropped by 1.87% last year. The average price amounted to EUR 51,025 in 2015, down from EUR 52,000 in 2014. The highest values were recorded in September (EUR 51,500) and December (EUR 52,000).
