Swiss company Artemis Real Estate recently announced that it will develop five real estate projects on some 128 hectares near Timisoara, hoping to attract new investors or buyers for the projects.

The company owns the land, which it bought last year. This was initially agricultural land, but the company changed its destination and obtained permits to develop real estate, both industrial and residential. Artemis is now interested in letting or selling some plots, but is also ready to build production facilities or warehouses.

“We have chosen the Western part of Romania for its development potential. We have the expertise from Switzerland, but also from Poland and the U.S. and we’re sure that we will further stimulate the appetite for investments around Timisoara,” said Michael Soormann, the administrator of Artemis Real Estate. The company is part of Artemis Holding which also owns the Franke kitchen equipment brand.
