Former marketing manager of Radisson Blu hotel in Bucharest promoted in the group’s regional office for UK and Ireland

Daniela Dumitrescu, the former marketing manager of the Radisson Blu hotel in Bucharest, which is managed by the Carlson Rezidor group, will leave the company after three years to take another management position in the group, in the UK.

She will go to Manchester, where she will work as Business to Business Marketing Manager, in the group’s regional marketing office for UK and Ireland.

Daniela Dumitrescu has been working as Marketing Manager for Radisson Blu, one of the largest five-star hotels in Bucharest for more than three years, and in August 2013 she was promoted to District Marketing Coordinator for South East Europe. She had previously worked as marketing specialist for logistics companies DB Schenker and Gebrüder Weiss.

The new Marketing Manager of the Radisson Blu hotel is Iulia Hoinaru, who has also been working in the company for three years, as Corporate Sales Manager. She had previously worked in the marketing department of fast-food chain McDonald’s Romania, for more than ten years and then for local telecom group Romtelecom, where she was Brand & Events manager for five years.

Radisson Blu, which has 424 rooms, was opened in 2009 on the premises of the former Bucuresti Hotel. The hotel is owned by Bucuresti Turism, which is controlled by Israeli group Elbit Imaging. Bucuresti Turism had a turnover of EUR 26 million and an operational profit of EUR 6.4 million, in 2013.
