First edition of Bucharest Jewish Film Festival to bring 29 premiere movies to Romania

First edition of the Bucharest Jewish Film Festival (BJFF) will take place in Bucharest between June 20 and June 26 this year. The festival will feature, amonf others, 29 movies screened for the first time in Romania. Screenings will take place at Cinema Studio, Scala Cinema, Green Hours Terrace and at the Romanian Peasant Museum.

The festival includes both movies that deal with a wide range of topics about the Jewish world, as well as exhibitions and concerts, to give viewers a unique vision of the image of Jews about themselves, as well as the Jewish image in the eyes of other cultures. The selection of films includes films like “A Heroic Life”, “A Room and A Half”, “Bar Mitzvah”, “Land of Genesis”, “Leap of Faith”.

Bucharest Jewish Film Festival is part of a network of more than 130 similar events held throughout the world under brand Jewish Film Festival.
