Summer heat: Where to find first aid tents in Bucharest?

A total of 18 first aid tents have been installed in Bucharest, amid a heat wave forecast that announced temperatures of up to 36 degrees Celsius in the capital until July 15.

The tents can be found in some of the busiest areas in Bucharest, namely Victoriei Square, Romana Square - the roundabout in front of the Economic Studies Academy (ASE), Romana Square - next to the metro station, Universitatii Square – Coltea Hospital, Universitatii Square – University of Architecture, Unirii Square – Regina Maria Boulevard, Unirii Square – 11 iunie, Moghioros market, C.A. Rosetti Square, Iancului Square – next to the metro station, Herastrau Park, Muncii Square, Crangasi Square, Bucur Obor store, Carol Park, Gara de Nord train station, and Cismigiu park.

Two other first aid tents are to be installed next to Unirea shopping center and in the Roma Square as soon as pavement rehabilitation works are completed.

The tents are open daily between 11:00 and 19:00 and are equipped with drinking water dispensers, air conditioning, equipment for measuring blood pressure and blood sugar level, and first aid kits. Doctors and nurses are also present to help those who are affected by the high temperatures.
