13 November 2014

Romanian entrepreneur Camelia Sucu has invested EUR 250,000 in opening a Natuzzi store in Baneasa area in Northern Bucharest. She expects the new unit to register sales of EUR 500,000 in the first year.

“This store targets middle managers,” said Sucu, adding that she wants to expand to Iasi and Timisoara, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

This is the only Natuzzi store currently operating in Romania, although the brand has been present before on the market, with a mono-brand unit.

Natuzzi owns a furniture factory in Baia Mare, in Northern Romania, which produces couches. The company which operates the factory, Italsofa, had EUR 70.5 mln in sales last year. It employs more than 1,300 people.
