‘Dinner in the Forest’ charity event to be held in Romania this May

Pamela Ratiu, director of the Ratiu Center for Democracy and president of the Transilvania Fest will organize a rather different charity events this spring: the ‘Dinner in the Forest’ in Romania’s Petrestii de Jos village, around 27 km south of Cluj, that will take place on May 18, 19:00.

The event will begin with wine tasting, followed by a three-course culinary feast.  The event’s special guest will be London chef Paul Bloomfield, who will use traditional ingredients provided by local producers.

Attendance requires a donation of EUR 100 per person, which will be donated to support Transilvania Fest, an annual food and culture festival that takes place on the last weekend of July at the Astra Museum, near Sibiu.
