Dacia's new Lodgy model gets 200 orders from Romania before starting delivery, 8,000 worldwide
Romanians have ordered 200 new Dacia Lodgy models, three months after the new model was launched, according to Thomas Dubruel, Dacia's commercial director. The car maker, owned by French Renault, officially launched and started to deliver the Lodgy model in Romania on Wednesday (June 6 ).
Worldwide, the new model has already clocked up 8,000 orders. The car is made in Morocco but some of the technical studies for the new model were made at Dacia's center in Mioveni, Romania.
In Romania, the Lodgy sells starting EUR 9,500 and can reach EUR 14,700 depending on options. Dacia will organize test drives at its centers in Romania for the new model between June 8 and 10.
