Romanian furniture producer Rus Savitar has opened the first Casa Rusu furniture store in Bucharest within the Vitantis shopping center project in the capital city. The store, on 4,000 sqm, sells furniture products from the producer's factory in Timisoara. It required an investment of EUR 500,000, which includes the furnishings and the stocks. The new store expects around 100 to 200 visitors a day.

This is the ninth store in the Casa Rusu chain and the first of the five openings planned for this year. The producer expects a EUR 22 million turnover for this year, up 10 percent on 2009. The producer has a 10,000 sqm factory in Timisoara, with four production lines. It has invested EUR 15 million so far. The company's general manager is Cristian Rusu (in picture).
