The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) will soon launch a new index, adding to the existing six indexes, which will follow the evolution of the most liquid shares on the BVB.

The new index, called BET -BK, will include 25 shares and will be created together with the fund managers, according to Alin Barbu, general manager of BVB.

There are already six indexes on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. CET ( Bucharest Exchange Trading) includes the shares of the ten most liquid companies on the local exchange.

The SIF investment funds are included in the BET-FI index, while the BET -C index is the general market index.
