British Ambassador to Bucharest to run in Romanian Marathon Against Cancer in October

Martin Harris, the British Ambassador to Bucharest together with the British Embassy team will take part in the  Marathon Against Cancer held this October in Romania. They will join Iulian Novac and Marian Gabriel, along with Temerarii Club in Bucharest to run the last 42 km at the Bucharest City Marathon, on October 9, 2011, which is the last event included in the Marathon Against Cancer.

The 700-km Marathon Against Cancer event will be held between October 2 and October 9 this year and the running route will include several Romanian cities, namely Sf. Gheorghe, Brasov, Rucar, Vulturesti, Goranesti, Fusea din Deal, Buftea and Bucharest.

The Marathon Against Cancer is held to raise money for psycho-social assistance programs developed by the Little People Association, designed to improve survival chances of children and young people fighting with cancer.
