German group Bosch recorded last year in Romania a turnover of EUR 210 million. This could grow by 12-15% this year, said Mihai Boldijar, Bosch general director, cited by local Mediafax.

Its profit amounted to EUR 7.6 million last year, whereas the investments stood at EUR 8 million.

In the next two years, Bosch will invest EUR 55 million, primarily to develop mobility solutions. It will invest some EUR 40 million in its factory in Blaj.

The company, which received a state aid in April, will also open a research & development center in Blaj, for mobility solutions.

Bosch will open a center for analytical solutions in Cluj-Napoca. The company also wants to increase the number of employees to over 3,000.
