Romanian airline Blue Air expands operations in Italy

The largest Romanian airline, Blue Air, announced that it is expanding its operations in Italy by allocating an additional aircraft to its base in Turin as of September 2020.

The company will also introduce three new routes from Turin and increase flight frequencies on the domestic routes in Italy, News.ro reported. 

"Blue Air is expanding its operations in Italy, allocating an additional aircraft to its base in Turin, starting with September 2020. Blue Air will introduce three new routes from Turin and will increase the current flight frequencies on domestic routes in Italy. Blue Air is improving its offer of seven domestic routes (two new) from Turin, with two daily flights to Catania, one daily flight to Lamezia Terme and new flights to Bari (New) and Cagliari (New), in addition to existing routes - Naples, Alghero and Trapani," the company announced in a press release.

Blue Air will also resume flights on the Bacau-Turin route starting October 1, once the modernization works at the Bacau International Airport in Romania are completed.
