Average net paycheck in Romania goes up by EUR 17 in March
The average net salary in Romania was of RON 1,706 (some EUR 380) in March, up a mere RON 80 (EUR 17.7)– or 4.9 percent on February, according to data from the country’s Statistical Institute INS. It was also up 5.5 percent on March 2013.
Biggest net salaries were registered in the tobacco production industry – RON 7,281 (some EUR 1,618), while the lowest, in hotels and restaurants – RON 970 – some EUR 215.
In March, the average nominal gross salary was of RON 2,356 – or some EUR 523, 4.9 percent higher month-on-month.
