Austrian Johann Strauss Ensemble, back to Romania in December

The Austrian orchestra Johann Strauss Ensemble will return for the seventh year in a row to Romania, with a tour to be held between December 11 and December 19. The orchestra will perform in several Romanian cities, namely Timisoara, Cluj, Bistrita, Medias, Targu Mures, Sibiu, Brasov, and Bucharest.

The Johann Strauss Ensemble was founded by musicians of the renowned Bruckner Orchestra in Linz, Austria. Established in 1985, the Ensemble has forged an impressive international reputation, with highly successful performances in the European music centers of Paris, London, Monaco, Madrid, Rome, Brussels, Berlin, Zurich, Hamburg, Romania, Hungary, Salzburg and Vienna.

Tickets for the concert to be held in Bucharest on December 19, can be purchased for prices between RON 20 and RON 200, from www.bilete.ro and Romanian Post offices, marked Bilete.ro. Tickets can also be found during the next days at the Bucharest National Theatre and Sala Palatului.
