A 50-years-old man tried to commit suicide at the Constantin Brancoveanu subway station in Bucharest on Wednesday morning, by jumping in front of the train.

An emergency rescue service team arrived at the scene and took the man to a hospital in Bucharest for medical investigations, reports local Mediafax. He had no visible injuries and was conscious at that time. The Police are now trying to find out why the man tried to kill himself.

The traffic was stopped on the line after the incident but was resumed later the same morning.
