Brewing company Ursus Breweries has named Andrew Highcock the company’s new president starting November 1. He will be replacing Gary Whitlie who decided to withdraw from the position after only one year.

Andrew Highcock has previously been the general manager of Pivovary Topvar for two years, the local company part of the SABMiller group in Slovakia. Before joining SABMiller, Andrew Highcock used to President Maxxium Canada and Managing Director Southern Europe for Maxxium. Previously, he worked for Diageo in France, UK and Central Europe, occupying different positions in the departments of sales, marketing and general management. See his CV here.

Ursus Breweries, part of the SABMiller group, produces and sells several beer brands: URSUS, Timisoreana, Ciucas, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Grolsch, Azuga, Redd’s, Stejar, Pilsner Urquell and Miller.
