Famous violinist André Rieu, who will hold several concerts in early –June in Romania, has recorded a message in Romanian for his local fans, wishing them Happy Easter. In the intro to his YouTube message to his Romanian fans, Rieu visits an Orthodox church. Video below.

His seven concerts scheduled for the beginning of summer in Bucharest have been high popular, with tickets for the first of them sold in just minutes.

Rieu, one of the best-sold musicians in the world, is highly popular in Romania, where he has broken the records in terms of concrete sales. His concerts are also popular elsewhere in the world, where tickets usually sell out months in advance.

Together with his Johann Strauss orchestra, the largest private orchestra in the world, Rieu holds 100 concerts a year throughout the world. Tickets for some of the concerts in Bucharest are still available at Eventim.ro. Rieu will concert in Bucharest on June 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 14.
