Marc Anthony postpones Bucharest gig because of Ukraine tensions

American singer Marc Anthony will perform for the first time in Romania in 2014.

According to a recent announcement posted on the organizers Vreaubilet.ro’s Facebook page, the gig is scheduled to take place on May 18 at Sala Palatului in Bucharest.

Marc Anthony is the best-selling tropical salsa artist of all times. He won two Grammy awards and three Latin Grammy prizes, selling millions of albums worldwide.

Anthony released his first album, When The Night Is Over, in 1991, while his 1995 album was nominated for a Grammy, with songs like Te Conozco Bien, Hasta Ayer, and Nadie Como Ella.

The artist married pop star Jennifer Lopez in June 2004, but the couple announced the separation in July 2011.

More information on ticket prices is yet to be announced.
