Agriculture Ministry sets up agency to promote Romanian products

05 June 2015

Romania’s Agriculture Ministry wants to set up an agency to promote Romanian products. It will operate as a public-private partnership, said Agriculture Minister Daniel Constantin. Romania needs to find new outlet markets.

“It’s a challenge for us to regain the domestic market, but we also need to expand to other markets,” the Minister said.

He added that the public-private partnership law doesn’t work as it should. However, he is trustful that the Government will soon change the law, so it will become operational.

“Such an Agency would support the Romanian producers and Romanian products,” Constantin said.
