2,500 Austrian pensioners to spend their autumn holidays in Romania
Almost 2,500 Austrian pensioners will spend a seven-night holiday in Sibiu, Romania this fall.
The pensioners are part of an association that has a tourism agency called Seniorenreisen responsible for organizing the tour in Romania.
The pensioners are expected to spend EUR 0.5 million in Romania, reports local Profit.ro.
Seniorenreisen organizes trips for its members twice a year. In the fall of last year, the pensioners went to Emilia-Romagna in Italy, and this spring they will go to Murcia, in Spain.
The large group will come to Romania between September 17 and October 22. They will arrive in Sibiu by 50 buses.
The trip in Romania will include tours of Brasov, Sibiu, Sighisoara, and Alba Iulia, as well as visits to the Brain Castle and the fortified churches in Hosman, Calnic, and Biertan.
