Romanian software company Zitec has expanded its headquarters starting this month, adding another floor in the Phoenix Tower in Bucharest.

The current headquarters occupies the entire fifth floor of the office building, while the new space occupies the sixth floor, which has an area of 830 sqm. Thus, the two floors will cover a total space of over 1,750 sqm.

On the sixth floor, the company will arrange an open space office area, several conference rooms and seating areas.

“In 2013, the number of team members has increased by 50 percent, to a total of over 90 software professionals, and we’ll continue recruiting new staff this year, in order to reach over 120 colleagues,” said Florentina Greger, human resources manager Zitec.

Zitec was founded in June 2003 and some of its services include Videopublishing, Zipongo.com, HuddleHero.com.
