Time to stock up on garlic: Romania’s Dracula Film Festival returns with new edition this October

The third edition of Dracula Film Festival will take place in Brasov between October 7 and October 11. Hotel Transylvania 2, the animated film directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, will open the event. Its screening is scheduled to take place at Sica Alexandrescu Theater on October 7.

Hotel Transylvania 2 is the sequel to the 2012 film Hotel Transylvania. Original voices from the first film, belonging to Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, and David Spade, return for this sequel.

Dracula Film Festival is a competition festival which includes horror, science fiction, supernatural, thriller, and fantasy movies. The festival has three sections: international feature film competition, international short film competition, and Romanian short film competition. The screenings will take place at Sica Alexandrescu Theater, Cinema One, Patria Cinema, and Reduta Cultural Center.

The event takes place every year in October.
